Laurels Forge Farm is 68 acre tract under easement with the Brandywine Conservancy. Formerly part of the King Ranch, it is adjacent to 700 acre Laurels Nature Preserve and is located along the banks of the Buck and Doe Run. It is surrounded by some 10,000 acres of deed restricted farmland.
Laurels Forge was a 19th century rolling mill of historical significance. There are a number of ruins on this property, which was once a busy industrial village.
We have completed the construction of a seven stall horse barn with an attached two story, two bedroom apartment and deck overlooking the Buck and Doe River on the site of the former Rolling Mill. An additional 4 stall shed row has also been built.
